Today we got to meet the children at Park Middle School. I went to the math camp. It was an interesting experience to be in a classroom full of smart, enthusiastic students. I really liked the teachers' enthusiasm. It made the children want to learn and kept them engaged. It's a very diverse class with children from all types of places. It was nice to review fractions with them and even learn a few tricks in the process. I got to do a worksheet with them and happily, I got them all right. However, I have to admit that at first I forgot to change them from improper frat ions. The teachers keep all the students included and enjoy the diversity. They really challenge their students and it shows that they really care about them succeeding. They are really nice and friendly and made me feel included. I got to sit by nascaat, he is from Iraq. He was the nicest and most adorable kid ever. He doesn't speak much English. Some students do not and one student was learning English and math. It was nice to see them trying and taking an interest in their education as do the teachers. It is definitely some place I'd like to go back.

Hey everybody!
This is your space to write about your amazing week at Discover Education Camp. I hope you have a blast, make new friends, learn a lot, and most of all, think seriously about becoming an Educator. The future of our nation depends on what YOU do. So choose your career wisely.
I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you.
